This is a Maidenhead Grid Square Distance Calculator. The way it
works is based on the
Maidenhead Locator System. Using this location system we can
calculate your location and the DX station location within a 1°
latitude by 2° longitude measurement. With this information we are
able to calculate the distance and angle to the distant station from
your station.
If you don't have the dx station's grid square but you do have the station's
lat/long in degrees, minutes and seconds and you need to calculate that grid
square, you can use the
ARRL's grid calculator to determine the dx station's Maidenhead Grid Square.
