FIELD DAY 2007

WHERE:  FURMAN UNIVERSITY

WHEN:  SATURDAY, JUNE 23 and SUNDAY, JUNE 24

SETUP TIME:  BEGINS AT 10:00 AM, SATURDAY

FIELD DAY CONTEST TIME:  FROM 2:00 PM SATURDAY UNTIL 2:00 PM SUNDAY

 

SITE INFORMATION:  OPEN AND SHADED AREAS WITH PLENTY OF PARKING AND EASY ACCESS FOR HANDICAPPED PERSONS

 

EQUIPMENT PICKUP AND LOADING: Equipment will be loaded from the club storage building on Friday evening, June 22.  Contact Ray Allison K4SUG for details 864.380.5580

 

FOOD AND FELLOWSHIP:  We will be having a food and fellowship time starting at 5:30 PM on Saturday evening. We will have hot dogs and BBQ.  You will need to bring your favorite fixin (i.e. devil eggs, baked beans, cole slaw, potato salad, and etc.) You will also want to bring your favorite dessert.  Fixins and dessert will be pot luck style.

 

 
    

STATION OPERATION:  Two stations will be operated in different modes.  The modes will vary throughout the day.  Remember you need not be licensed or hold an extra class license to communicate on the radio.  We will have an operator on hand for these frequencies.

 

DIRECTIONS:  Signs will be posted at the intersection of White Horse Road and New Roe Ford Road near the golf course.
