This event is being held in conjunction with the world wide Jamboree on the Air (JOTA), an event supported by ARRL. A Radio Merit Badge Day gives the scouts an opportunity to complete all the requirements for the Radio Merit Badge in one day. This is also a great introduction to Amateur Radio for the boys. With this event on the same day a JOTA, there should be ample opportunity for these Scouts to talk to other Scout throughout the world. BRARS will support this event by setting up equipment for a mini field day. Operators are needed that can explain and demonstrate the equipment. Need three people that could be instructors for class room activities. All material for the class room activities will be on PowerPoint.
