Like many hams, I have always been intrigued by electronics of all kinds, so it was no surprise when I got my amateur license in 1973 while I was a broadcast technician at what is now WYFF-TV. I was later the operations manager at WESC radio and am now an applications programmer and data conversion specialist with a medical software company in Greenville. I am currently the treasurer of the Blue Ridge Amateur Radio Society. I'm active in the Greenville County ARES and a new member of SC Army MARS. I am married and have two grown children with my Bonnie. We live in Easley.
